Old driveway concrete after a storm cleanup
I remember rolling into Highland Garden after a week of hot, sticky weather, and the broken driveway slab was already starting to dry out in rough chunks. The yard sat in that post-war 1950s block layout, where a tight driveway and low-hanging limbs leave very little room to stage debris. Our customer had jackhammered out thick concrete and needed it gone before the pile blocked the walk and turned into a safety issue for the family and the crew.
We dropped a concrete dumpster right up front, set boards where the wheels had to cross, and kept the load focused on clean concrete so the haul stayed efficient. Our crew used pry bars, shovels, and a skid steer bucket to break the bigger pieces down and keep the stack level. We hauled it so you don't have to worry about it, and by the end the driveway opened back up for the next phase of repairs.
I was relieved to see the concrete gone and the driveway clear again.
